Meditation can be done in a number of ways. You could be doing it by seating down in a seat or laying down. The only thing that has stays constant that you focus on your breath and not focusing on things around you.

More Than One Way to Meditate

Like creating any habit, it is best to have a  routine for that habit to form. If you have a certain place and time, you meditate each day. It is more likely that you will continue to meditate. The more you meditate, the easier it becomes. 

Schedule A Time To Meditate

The main goal of meditation is to relax and focus on oneself for a couple of minutes. You can meditate as little as 5 minutes and still feel better afterward.

Meditating is about letting go of control and focusing on nothing. Some people will have a hard time starting to meditate because they want to control their breath, but they let it be and only listen to it.
