Gemstones
Gemstones are an easy way to start your self-care journey. They are affordable and don't take a lot of time to get. Gemstones are stones that are used in jewelry and other formats. Some gemstones are believed to enhance certain sides of a person. In this section, I am going over some of my favorite gemstones and their meaning. For clarity, gemstones have been scientifically shown to have only a placating effect on people. However, I have found it useful to empower myself and make me less stressful.
The easiest way to use a gemstone is to wear it, but you could also meditate with them, do a ritual, or place them around your house. They are supposed to release their energy into the atmosphere.
Amethyst
Amethyst is shown on the left. It believed that it promotes hormone balance, stress relief, and improves mental focus. It always acts as a barrier against lower energies, psychic attack, geopathic stress, and unhealthy environments.
Turquoise
Turquoise is supposed to be a stone of communication and suppose to help people to be more outspoken. It also increases positive mental characteristics serenity, creativity, empathy, positive thinking, sensitivity, intuition, and happiness.
Agate
Agate is a variety of microcrystalline quartz. It makes people feel balance in their life. It is grounding energy. This means that it would help build up their strength and diminish weaknesses in time.
Clear Quartz
These are the most common and abundant of the gemstones. Clear Quartz crystals bring clarity of the mind, helping people to focus, and project the energy of user.
